Národní Identitní Autorita – NIA je uzol, ktorý rôznymi cestami overuje prihlásenie a identitu do aplikací sociálneho zabezpečenia, portálu občana a iných.
Národní Identitní Autorita poskytuje veľké množstvo overovacích spôsobov ako napríklad: prihlasovacím menom, heslom či SMS kódom – dvojfaktorové overenie, končiac eObčankou, jej hardwerovou čítačkou a špeciálnou aplikáciou, ktorá sa nainštaluje na počítač. CZ.NIC. prevádzkuje prihlásenie MojeID, ktoré po novom pribudlo.
Cez eObčanku vám môžu ukradnúť identitu
Experti sa vyjadrili, že vidia problém pri prihlásení cez eObčanku a aplikáciu, ktorá sa spustí z webového prehliadača. Ak zadáte pin, overí sa identita pomocou čipu, ktorý je súčasťou eObčanky. Počítač a servery NIA nadviažu spojenie, pričom sa prenáša špeciálny identifikátorom spojenia. Naneštastie sa tento identifikátor dá nahradiť záškodníckym.
To by znamenalo, že hacker by získal kontrolu nad prihláseným používateľom, pričom by tento používateľ nemal vedomosť o útoku.
Po krádeži identity by tak mohol útočník pracovať s e-governmentem, pričom by si obeť ani nemusela všimnúť, že jej bola ukradnutá identita. Experti na problematiku navrhli aj systém zabezpečenia pre eObčanku.
